Ordered the hottest little red corset last night:
CAN NOT Wait! I'm trying to put together a concert outfit in honor of Only Ten Ribs*, the performer. I'm thinking white or black blouse under the red cincher, black pencil skirt, thigh high stockings and some killer red or black pumps.
What do you think? Will it be hot?

*If you can guess who I am talking about, THAT was a really clever moniker on at least two levelsl! Do you know who I mean and why it makes me chuckle?
The mercury has finally dipped, albeit temporarily, here in the land of the brown bayou auguring in that special season; the time during which the fairer sex finally gets to embrace her girly bits with cozy soft fabrics and interesting silhouettes. I have spent my Friday evening preparing my closet to host slinky knits and sumptuous skirts bearing the shapes of tulips, pencils, A's and the occasional circle.
Oh and the colors! Gone are the pastels and Barbi pinks. In are the reds and greens and peacock blues and teals. And the sexy blacks are back! I can scarcely control my excitement as my fingers caress the brown and grey tweeds with leather buttons or velvet piping.
But most of all, my thighs get a warm glowy tingling from the arrival of my beloved shoes from their banishment in the back closet. Thank you, thank you, thank you Chanel, Gucci, Coach, and Pliner! Thank you for making such beautiful heels to raise my tush and tighten my calves. You have brought the wiggle back to my walk and the spring to my step.
Because I don't pole dance by day or night, I have to practice for traipsing around the house for few days. Some of my pumps are so high I rise close to 6 feet tall. It takes a re-centering of gravity and retraining of ligaments to maneuver successfully in them. I have already taken my first wobbly steps to the kitchen and back in my beloved Gucci's from my avatar picture. My apologies to the neighbors downstairs.
Yay Fall!
