Guess who called today? This Guy. He called to apologize for his egregious and inexcusable behaviour. He wants me to call so he can apologize "in person" rather than to my voicemail.

Only took him 13 days......so he might actually mean it. Or not......

I'm in no rush to call him back.

I think whenever someone wants to apologize it's good to hear what they have to say. You may give them a silent FU when they're done, but on the other hand, you may resurrect a friendship. 13 days sounds to me like an epiphany...might be interesting to hear what was going on in his little head...

I'm placing my bet on "wife gave him a hell of a verbal throwdown when he got home that day, and hasn't let him forget it since."

And if she did, she had every right to-- and you might hear him out before he gets another throwdown.

Oh I will call him back; I just thought I'd make him wait a few days. I've got more pressing matters to attend to than relieving him of his guilty conscience.

He carried it for 13 days, what's 2 or 3 more?
